Captivate Your Heart - better known as "Corky" - is my 2004 AQHA mare (The Last Captive X Fruit Cocktail (TB)). She specializes in hunter under saddle, and also shows showmanship. I bred and raised Corky, and together we went from yearling longe line to two Congress top 10's in 2007. Spare Me The Details - better known as "Taylor" - is my 1998 AQHA mare (Last Detail X Victoria Harbour (TB)). Taylor earned over 100 points in hunter under saddle, showmanship, and equitation before retiring in 2008 to become a broodmare. Check out the photos and stories from her many years in the show ring, and then becoming a new mom!
In late 2004 I started an online training diary as I weaned Corky and started her ground training. This diary was mainly for my own benefit to keep track of my ups and downs, and progress (or lack of!). Over the years it has become a popular page on my site, as I pull no punches and note the highs and lows that come with training any horse, because no one really wants to read about how perfect someone's horse is! We all have many similar problems and training issues, don't we? Start at the beginning and follow my training processes and notes through the years.

In my spare time (hahaha...how funny! SPARE time! As IF!) I paint horse portraits and other things. Painting has always been a way to relax me, and thankfully it has now become a way to help pay the hay and vet bills. Check out my Art By Rabbit page and see what I do from midnight to 4am :-]
I love analyzing showmanship and equitation patterns! I have a serious collection of well over a hundred showmanship patterns and nearly the same amount of equitation patterns. Check out the Patttern Geek page for some patterns I have run across, and my thoughts and ideas on them.
I enjoy traveling (when the vet bills haven't bankrupted me!). Take a look at my various trip pages in the menu to the left and see where I've gone!
There are lots of other pages on this website - videos of my horses, photos of my former horses that I owned or bred, some really dumb puns and jokes, lots and lots and lots of photos, etc. I am a closet computer geek, and I am constantly playing with this website and experimenting with code, so sometimes this page may look a little off-kilter as I am trying out new stuff.
