Dolphin was born April 4, 2020, and came home with me on June 6, 2020. He is the result of a collaboration between myself and Pretzel, and my good friend in Texas with her Futurity-winning bitch. The entire litter was beautiful, but this little green-collar boy spoke to me, and I flew him home from Texas with me. He was the favorite of all of the flight attendants on Southwest, and he spent both of my flights sitting in my lap enjoying the attention.
It is a dream come true to finally own my own Pretzel puppy. He has pretty big paws to fill. I know Pretzel can never be duplicated, so Dolphin's job will be to find his own path and journey in life, and I will do my best to bring out the best in him.

Dolphin started his show career with not just a bang, but an explosion! His first 3 shows as a 4-6 month puppy he won Best in Show. When he turned 6 months of age, he hit the regular show ring and was finished in a month with 4 majors. At 8 months of age, he was the youngest Weimaraner puppy to compete at the AKC National Championship Puppy Stakes, and won Best of Breed, earning the title "AKC Weimaraner Puppy of the Year". With limited showing, he got his Grand Championship, and won BEST DOG IN FUTURITY at the 2021 Central Futurity. He then came back the following year at the 2022 National Specialty and won BEST DOG IN MATURITY, sealing his presence in the record books! He also placed 2nd in the Eastern Field Futurity, earning a Dual Futurity Award for placing/winning in both the show and field futurities. At the 2021 National Specialty he was also awarded Most Versatile Junior Dog (for dogs under the age of 2).
Dolphin has earned his Master Hunter title (with 5 passes out of 7 attempts!), has earned an Open Gun Dog major win at his first field trial, and is very close to earning his agility MACH, along with dabbling in scent work competition. His sweet disposition towards all humans and other dogs make him a joy to work with.
