I luv Spring, man! Spring...on two good legs
It was 75 degrees and sunny today. What more could one want out of life?
I planned on spending my evening at the barn riding Corky, but two new horses showed up at the barn and they were WILD. They had all the other horses in the barn upset (what a bunch of sheep!), and Corky was flipping out every time one of them would whinney, so I figured I enjoyed my life on two sound legs too much to risk it LOL!
Kevin is home today with an ice pack o his back, completely out of commission with back pain. There for the grace of God go I....I see that and I pray it will never be me. I know he is in severe pain, he is trying hard not to snap at people but you can see the strain on his face. What a stinky thing to happen - be laid up in bed with an injury on one of the nicest days of the year. I would DIE if I had major physical problems...if I don't get my daily horse fix or exercise I am a total crank (read: THIS MORNING!).
Luckily for Kevin, it is supposed to be rainy and gloomy the rest of the week, so he can work on healing and not feel bad on missing out on the good weather.
