Pretzel - March 7, 2012 - October 24, 2024

Pretzel came home with me at age 10 weeks, and we've been pretty much inseparable ever since. Have you ever had that one dog that just completely encompassed your heart and changed your life forever? That's Pretzel! My life changed on May 25, 2012. What a journey we've had!

Whatever sport we participate in, Pretzel is SERIOUS! He is my hard-working perfectionist, and lives to make me happy. His super disposition makes him easy to live with, as he knows when it is time to work and when it is time to just hang out. Our journey together was amazing, and forged a bond between us that changed my life forever. He is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime dog, and is the ultimate combination of beauty and brains.

Pretzel sired three litters of puppies, all who have inherited his sensible, trainable personality along with his correct, strong conformation. Out of only 3 litters, he sired the 2020 Best Dog in Eastern Maturity, 2021 Best Dog in Central Futurity, and the 2022 Best Dog in Central Maturity. Now retired, he enjoys occasional hunting and scentwork trials, and being the best puppy-raiser on the planet...as well as being my 24/7 companion.

Sadly, Pretzel passed away from cancer at age 12 1/2 on October 24, 2024. It has left a big hole in the hearts of everyone who lives here - dogs and humans alike. He has left behind a wonderful legacy. We remember him with smiles, and laughter, and a few tears.
