Bay Thoroughbred mare, 16'2"

May 11, 1985 - December 20, 2000

Tory is a 16'3" bay Thoroughbred broodmare. She raced as a 2 year old, and spent many years showing hunter/jumper until she was retired due to a shoulder injury in her later years.

Tory suffered a freak accident while being turned out in the indoor arena, and fractured her right hind leg. Unfortunately, the fracture was severe and compound, and nothing could be done to fix it, so she was euthanized at 9:35 pm on December 20, 2000. Tory's greatness will live on in some of her outstanding foals.

1996 bay American Warmblood stallion

Momentous, affectionately know to everyone as Norman, is a 1996, 17+ hand American Warmblood stallion. He sired the national silver medal AWS 2 yo filly, August Eclipse and has many nice babies in training today. He has been successful in the high Junior and Amateur jumpers and also evented through preliminary level and qualified for the 6yo Young Jumpers Championships in 2002 and the American Eventing Championships in 2006. Norman has competed at major shows from Lake Placid to Wellington with junior rider, Allie Wolfe, under the tutelage of Pamela Graham, George Morris, Anne Kursinski and in Canada with Beth Underhill. Norman has made a career of helping juniors and amateurs build confidence over big fences. He is a true schoolmaster with loads of experience under his girth. He is very quiet, exceptionally safe, super easy and really fun to ride! He's a super jumper and a great problem solver. No worries if you make a mistake on this guy. He finds distances and picks his way through the tricky combinations on his own. He can even open his own stall door... but seriously, this horse is as uncomplicated as they come, no spook, no vices, just a great work ethic because he loves his job! This is a very special horse. ~ Owned by Old Oak Farm, Ohio
